At Berry Ring we are able to offer customers the opportunity to visit some of our suppliers on trips to Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Israel, Brazil and Czech Republic. During these trips customers can gain an insight into the methods and systems used by the suppliers as well as being able to pick fish and see them being packed ready for shipping.

Far East trips often involve visits to South Island Aquarium, Sunbeam Aquarium and Aquarium Iwarna in Singapore where annual trips for the past 7 years have been key to the prosperous relationships built up between ourselves and our suppliers.

In Malaysia customers are able to pick tropical fish and koi from both Sanwa Aquatics and Aquatics International.(Koi imports from Malaysia are currently suspended until certification is obtained, as of July 08)

In Thailand customers have the oportunity to select koi, tropical fish and captive bred clown fish.

We also offer trips to Visit the "Mag Noy" farms in Israel where customers are able to view and select a wide range of coldwater fish including the opportunity to hand pick Koi

During the past 2 years we have been strengthening our relationship with our Czech Republic supplier by offering trips to Prague to visit the many breeders our supplier purchases from.

In 2005 Richard visited the Amazon with Project Piaba and experienced canoeing deep in to the Amazon jungle along freshwater streams and observed the many different species of fish in the rivers. He returned in 2008 for 2 weeks. The next project is 2010 and there are currently spaces still availble on the trip for any who may be intererested.
