Aquazone - Indonesian Consolidation

 

We use Aquazone as our Indonesian Freshwater Fish supplier, lovely people with good fish and great work ethics. Theresia Sutedja is Marketing Director and she is a delight to deal with, great communications and a lovely attitude. Sun Sun (Hertono Kintadjaja) is the founder and Managing Director and all things fish! He started the business in 1996.

They have a great outlook on life and problem solving, really are nice genuine people – with a good large team behind them, their breeding division produces over 500 varieties!

Species

Some very interesting fish come out of Indonesia, a lot of captive bred unusual species - in no particular order some exciting item are:

Backberry Silver Dollar, Chilli Red Oscars, Albino Lemon Oscar, loads of shrimps, crabs and snails. Butis Butis, lots of Tanganyika Cichlids (Tropheus, Julidochromis, Lamprolgus, Cyphotilapia). 

 

Also a lot of Malawi Cichlids and South American Cichlids (Apistogramma, Electric Blue Demsey, Rams, Uaru, Geophegus, Albino Threadfin Acara), unusual forms of Angelfish, Catfish including a lot of Corydoras, tank bred Synodontis (Decorus, Schoutdeni, Notatus, Petricola, etc), various ‘L Codes’ 

Plus a whole selection of Characins, Rainbow fish (some very unusual/rare ones), Killifsh, Barbs, Rasbora, Liverbearers, Eels and Gourami …… the list goes on.

Of special mention is the selection of Betta (Siamese Fighting Fish) they have from cheap and cheerful to AA grade fish just about any colour you can think of!

Shipments

Shipments arrive on a Wednesday, usually every 3 weeks and fits in with the Singapore shipment time wise. All of the relevant information and charges are shown on the availability list header. They pack in Full, half, quarter, sixth and eighth of a box or a combination (1/6th & 1/8th have a packing surcharge)

Great people, amazing selection of fish, good service – what’s not to like?!
